Web Clip 1: The microKORG XL is a fresh combination of features from the original microKORG and the Korg R3. This PDF chart shows how the three instruments compare.

Web Clip 2: With a Korg RADIAS–derived vocoder and R3-style mic, the microKORG XL can make some terrific sounds. Here’s a tour of several vocoder presets: Vocal Pulse, Vocal Ensemble, Spectral Voice, Voice Changer and Devil Vox.

Web Clip 3: Three knobs let you shape the microKORG XL’s sound during performance. In this clip, I changed FM and waveshaper parameters on an electric piano patch. (The background drums are a loop in Ableton Live to keep things moving.)

Web Clip 4: And in this clip I changed filter parameters on an arpeggiated sound, PHAZKIT.
