This short piece uses the loop called Throne Room, which features a mix of percussion including Darken drumming on various parts of a toilet. The flush-like sound is from a spring drum.

In this example, a one-second sound was generated, then stretched first to ten times its length, then to sixty times its length. This sound file contains the original one-second sound, all of the second version, and the first ten seconds of the third version.

After changing the sample-start time and passing the loop through Chaos Designer and effects, acoustic instruments (such as this Djembe pattern) achieve radical sonic transformations.

Web Clip 2:
Melodic instruments are equally valid grist for the RMX mill. Here’s a Multi I’ve assembled with an acoustic bass loop, an arpeggiator pattern, and wah-wah rhythm guitar added to some third party tablas and Stylus RMX drums and percussion.

Here is a single instance of RMX playing an eight-part Multi with lots of Chaos Designer, LFO-controlled panning, and effects. Note the cannosn-shot snare created with reverb applied to just beats two and four.
