Berkleemusic.com has announced its new course, “Introduction to Game Audio.” Presented by the online division of the Berklee College of Music, this course teaches students the basics of sound effects libraries, how to work with animation, the technical aspects of game audio, and the business side of the video game industry.
According to Berklee, completion of this course should provide students with the knowledge necessary for developing, writing, and editing sounds and music for interactive environments; creating video game soundtracks; working with various tools to complete game audio; and more. Enrollment is open for the Winter Term at Berkleemusic.com, which begins on January 7, 2008.
