Grooveboxmusic.com has announced Pro Tools Tips and Tricks with Kenny Gioia. In this collection of 40 video tutorials, Digidesign Pro Tools engineer Kenny Gioia offers his tips for Pro Tools mixing, production, and utilities.

Specifically, the videos explain Beat Detective Collection mode, kick and snare drum replacement, stuttering guitars, scratching, recording background vocals, comping vocals, using mono delays, the wah-wah effect, advanced markers, making a vocoder, and de-essing vocals.

Although Pro Tools Tips and Tricks with Kenny Gioia will not ship until July 1, 2007, you may pre-purchase a CD-ROM or download version for $39.99 (a 20 percent discount from the regular price). In addition, Groovebox offers several full-version videos from the collection for free from its Web site.
