PreSonus Audio Electronics has released the FaderPort native driver for version 7 or higher of Apple Logic Pro and Apple Logic Express. The driver provides the FaderPort with a new mix/edit/transport window view, write and latch automation, and better overall performance.

The FaderPort is a desktop USB automation and transport controller for computer recording, which comes with a 100 mm touch-sensitive, motorized long-throw fader for recording fades and writing automation.

In addition to the Logic native driver, the FaderPort has native drivers for Digidesign Pro Tools, Cakewalk Sonar, Steinberg Cubase, Steinberg Nuendo, and MOTU Digital Performer. The FaderPort is compatible in both Windows XP/Vista and Mac Tiger/Leopard OS.

The FaderPort drivers are available at the PreSonus Web site.
