Propellerhead Software has stepped up to the Windows Vista plate and announced full compatibility with the new OS.

In keeping with Microsoft's Works With Vista guidelines, Reason 3.04 (without ReWire), ReCycle 2.1, and Reload 1.0.1 can all successfully upgrade to Vista. However, the programs will require administrative privileges the first time each is installed and launched. Users upgrading from earlier versions of Windows will also need any original install discs and serial numbers on hand.

ReWire and Rex are also now Vista-compatible but require a new installer. Propellerhead has created a special installer for this purpose, and users can download it from the company's Web site.
