Behringer has announced the Phaser PH9, the Vintage Bass VB1, and the Ultra Bass Flanger BUF300.
The Phaser PH9 ($44.99) is an effects filter that creates many different sounds, from 90-phase shifts to space-like warbles. It has a variable rate control that sets the effect speed, and a Swirl switch that allows you to select sounds. In addition, the PH9 offers rugged cast-metal housing, a hardwire bypass footswitch, an LED light for Effect On/Battery level, and battery or DC power operation.
The Vintage Bass VB1 ($59.99) is a dynamic bass filter that is said to add spunk to basslines and solos. Notable features include a switchable distortion circuit, variable sensitivity and dual dynamic resonant filters. Like the PH9, the VB1 has rugged cast-metal housing, a hardwire bypass footswitch, an LED light for Effect On/Battery level, and battery or DC power operation.
The Ultra Bass Flanger BUF300 ($44.99) is a foot pedal with controls for variable depth, rate, and resonance, as well as a manual filter frequency. According to the manufacturer, the BUF300 creates flanging sounds and punchy choruses, tremolos, delays, and other effects. The BUF300 has electronic switching and is powered by battery or DC power.
