Based on Eliosound's AMLT (Analog Matched Linear Transform) technology, the Eliosound AirEQ v. 1.2 (Mac/Win; $269) is a new EQ plug-in that features analog-like curves, no processing delay, and low CPU usage, according to the manufacturer.

The company also states that its equalizer reproduces analog equalization characteristics such as curve precision and phase variation, and it has an Air band, a type of filter that is meant to help restore or add brightness to a sound.

AirEQ is available in VST, AU, and RTAS plug-in formats from Eliosound's online shop. You can download a demo version of AirEQ here.
