The Vienna Symphonic Library has released Chamber Strings II, the sequel to the company's first Vienna Instruments collection of small strings ensembles. Chamber Strings II features the muted sections of violins, violas, cellos, and double basses.
This 16.5 GB collection offers new articulations as well as many of the playing techniques included with Chamber Strings I, but played muted instead.
Chamber Strings II also provides various short and sustained notes, dynamics, and Interval Performances such as legato, portamento, and trill performances. Like all Vienna Instruments collections, Chamber Strings II is a sample-based virtual instrument that works standalone and supports VST, RTAS, and AU formats.
Pricing is as follows: the Standard Library is $535, the Extended Library is $215, and the Full Library is $750. Through July 15, 2008, registered users of the Standard Library and the Extended Library of Chamber Strings I can receive the Extended Library of Chamber Strings II for free. Just register the Standard Library of Chamber Strings II to automatically receive a Full Library Activation Code.
