Puremagnetik has released Purple Kit for Ableton Live 7, Native Instruments Kontakt 3, Apple Logic, and Apple GarageBand.

What is Purple Kit? It's a three-piece maple drum set that emphasizes funk and hip-hop playing styles. Purple Kit offers 500 MB of 24-bit samples captured in multiple articulations, stick types, and microphone positions. All parameters are accessible within Live 7's Macro controls, or they can be loaded as three different kits for Kontakt, Logic, and GarageBand. In addition, Purple Kit includes a collection of Live Clips, Apple Loops, and Beat Machine Loops for Kontakt.

The Ableton Live 7 version integrates into Ableton's Drum Rack format and is compatible with Ableton Sampler and Simpler instruments. Purple Kit for Kontakt 3 includes a customized Easy Edit interface that allows you to mix microphone levels around the kit.
