man playing Matouqin instrument

Matouqin (Windows; $68) is the latest Chinee Series VSTi from Kong Audio. This new plug-in instrument recreates the sound of the Mongolian horse-headed fiddle often used to complement Chinese classical instruments.

Matouqin features a variety of phrases and articulations, as well as tremolo, trills, and slaps. The plug-in also offers 24-bit, 96 kHz quality sampling and mod wheel triggered expressions.

Note that this plug-in is for Windows users only. If you buy the plug-in within a bundle, you may receive a 20 percent discount off your purchase. For more information and audio demos of Matouqin, visit www.chineekong.com.
