EastWest has announced that all EastWest/Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Play editions will ship on July 15, 2008.
Each version (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Platinum Plus) in the new Play line features the Play 64-bit sampling engine, 64-bit with 32-bit compatibility for PCs, full memory access with Apple Macs (requires a 64-bit Mac), and compatibility with Intel Macs.
The Symphonic Orchestra Play editions also offer a custom user interface; an "intelligent" performance section with portamento, repetition, and legato; onscreen mic position mixing (with Platinum and Platinum Plus versions only); switchable 24-bit/16-bit depth (with Platinum Plus version); convolution reverb with pre-delay; stereo image editing; and much more.
Pricing for each version is as follows: Play-Powered Quantum Leap Platinum Plus is $1,295; Platinum is $1,195; Gold is $695; and Silver is $295. For information about Symphonic Orchestra Play products, please visit EastWest at soundsonline.com.
