Digidesign has introduced the Transfuser Preview, a free three-month prerelease version of the Transfuser RTAS virtual instrument plug-in for Pro Tools. Transfuser allows you to create, manipulate, and perform loop- and rhythm-based music in real-time.

Ideal for anyone who works with loops, Transfuser comes with a number of ready-to-use loops and phrases. The virtual instrument lets you make grooves using multiple drum and effects modules, slice and tag loops in real-time, convert loops into MIDI patterns/drum kits, and replace sounds in existing loops. You can also drag and drop Pro Tools regions and audio files directly from a computer browser.

Through June 25, 2008, Digidesign will be offering a free download of the Transfuser Preview (fully functional for three months) to all users of Pro Tools | HD , Pro Tools LE, and Pro Tools M-Powered. More information about the Transfuser Preview is available at www.digidesign.com/transfuserpreview.
