Steinberg North America is shipping Sequel 2 ($99), the latest version of the music creation and live performance software. Sequel 2 adds new features such as a hardware Controller Learn mode, Track Freeze, a virtual keyboard, Track Icons, and more.
Controller Learn Mode provides easy setup for hardware controllers and offers tactile control over almost every Sequel 2 function, instrument, or parameter. Meanwhile, Track Freeze improves CPU efficiency, and the Track Icons visually label tracks, making them easy to find within the Sequel user interface. Sequel 2 also features an improved Sequel MediaBay sound management system and more creative options for the Audio Reverse effect and the Audio Warp.
In addition to Sequel 2, Steinberg has released three Sequel Content Sets (loop collections) in rock, industrial, and hip-hop genres.
Registered Sequel users may upgrade to Sequel 2 for $29. To learn more about these releases and others, visit steinberg.net.
