IK Multimedia is now shipping the StealthPedal, a USB-powered audio interface and software floor-controller in one. Designed for guitarists and bassists, the StealthPedal allows players to connect their instrument to the computer and control software parameters, all from the floor. You can control the included "Powered by AmpliTube" software without additional setup, as well as control any MIDI-controllable software with the StealthPedal using the included StealthPedal MIDI Setup application (Mac/Win).
The StealthPedal offers 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion and 44.1/48 kHz operation. Its two discreet inputs allow for connection of high-impedance or line-level instruments, while its two separate outputs and headphone output allow for private listening and mobile jamming. The unit also features a software-configurable input gain level, a 109 dBA low-noise input stage, a built-in assignable expression pedal and MIDI footswitch, assignable volume control, external double switch and expression pedal inputs, and more. You can associate the built-in expression pedal and switch with any parameter of any "Powered By AmpliTube" software or other amp and effects modeling software with MIDI control capabilities. For additional recording flexibility, the StealthPedal controls can be expanded with an additional expression pedal and two extra switches.
The unit ships with a plethora of guitar and bass software, including AmpliTube 2, Ampeg SVX, AmpliTube X-Gear, RiffWorks T4 recording software and Sonic Reality AmpliGroove Jam Loops. The StealthPedal is compatible with all major DAWs that support ASIO and Core Audio drivers. For a limited time, those who purchase a StealthPedal will receive a free download of AmpliTube Metal software.
Two versions of the StealthPedal are available: StealthPedal ($269.99 MSRP), which includes the StealthPedal, AmpliTube 2 Live, Ampeg SVX Uno, AmpliTube X-Gear, RiffWorks T4 and Sonic Reality AmpliGrooves Jam Loops; and StealthPedal Deluxe ($449.99 MSRP), which includes the StealthPedal, AmpliTube 2 Full Version, Ampeg SVX Full Version, AmpliTube X-Gear, RiffWorks T4 and Sonic Reality AmpliGrooves Jam Loops.
