PowerFX has announced Miracle Beats, a sample CD and VSTi combo that includes the company's LoopMorph technology. LoopMorph automatically puts each individual element of the drum kit onto individual tracks, so they can be easily rearranged.
Miracle Beats lets you auto-stretch loops to any tempo, preview a loop in sync with the host application, and switch between loop patterns in real time. You can also reverse a loop as it's playing, and the loop will adjust so that it stays in time with the sequence. When you choose Sampler mode, you get over 5,000 individual, ready-to-use samples from over 500 full drum loops.
Miracle Beats has four stereo limiters as well as four stereo outputs, assigned to bass drum, snare drum, hi-hats, and percussion. The RMS Level feature automatically matches the dynamic level of one loop with another. Other features include Shuffle, Humanize, and the ability to export WAV files.
