Novation has announced that it will make 4- and 5-octave versions of its ReMote USB keyboard controller, the ReMote 49 ($749) and ReMote 61 ($899), respectively. The ReMote controllers can also be used as standalone MIDI controllers, and they offer one MIDI In, two MIDI Out, and one Thru ports.
The ReMote controllers offer 24 buttons, 8 sliders, 8 encoders, and 8 knobs, all of which are user definable. It also has dedicated transport controls, a programmable X/Y touchpad, 64 programmable templates, and more than 50 templates for popular applications by Propellerhead, Native Instruments, Emagic, and Steinberg.
