The Banff Centre in Alberta, Canada will host six CCRMA programs in July and August 2004, while CCRMA's Stanford facilities undergo major renovations.
The programs include: Physical Interaction Design for Music (July 5 - July 16), Haptic Musical Devices (July 19 - 23), Digital Signal Processing (DSP) I: Spectral and Physical Models (July 26- August 6), Perceptual Audio Coding (August 9 - 13), Digital Signal Processing (DSP) II: Digital Audio Effects (August 16 - 27), and ANET: High Quality Audio over Networks Summit (August 20 - 22).
The faculty for CCRMA@Banff includes: Chris Chafe, Theresa Leonard, Scott Wilson, Michael Gurevich, Bill Verplank, Charles Nichols, Perry Cook, Xavier Serra, Marina Bosi, Richard Goldberg, Jonathan Abel, Dave Berners, and Julius O. Smith.
Registration is now open for the six CCRMA@Banff workshops and is limited to 15 to 20 participants. Complete program information, including online registration, is available at www.banffcentre.ca/ccrma
