Sonnox Ltd. has announced the release of Restore, a suite of intuitive audio restoration plug-ins. Restore’s advanced algorithms and novel features expedite fast, extremely effective removal of pops, clicks, crackles, scratches, hum, buzzes and extraneous background noise from virtually any recording.
The Sonnox Restore Suite features three intuitive, highly effective audio restoration plug-ins. Oxford DeClicker, Oxford DeBuzzer and Oxford DeNoiser represent a quantum leap beyond previous technology for accurately restoring impaired audio recordings. Capable of exceptionally high quality audio repairs, the three plug-ins provide detailed graphical feedback, saving time in the post-production process. Restore is the result of an exhaustive 18-month research and development program, and the plug-ins exploit many recent technological advances.
Shipping immediately, Restore sells for $1,995. However, Sony Restoration Tools owners can exchange their old license for a Sonnox Restore license for $1,495 until February 28, 2010. (Sonnox emphasizes that the Restore suite is completely unrelated to the old Sony Restoration Tools and does not have backwards compatibility.)
