A 14-day trial version of Sound Performance Lab’s new Vitalizer plug-in is now available for download. Using SPL’s patented filter technology for automatic sound optimizing, Vitalizer is a unique and comprehensive tool for adding presence and transparency to your music. The full version will be available for sale beginning on December 7, 2009.

Vitalizer combines a 3-band stereo EQ with a stereo enhancer to add life and sparkle to your mixes. SPL claims to have sold 30,000 units of its hardware counterparts and has now transferred the same technology to the digital domain using the latest component modeling methods. Like the rackmount version, Vitalizer is especially well suited for restoring old recordings. It offers mono, stereo or multichannel operation in TDM, RTAS, VST, AU and Digidesign’s VENUE formats.
