The new multichannel 5.1 EQ plug-in from Eiosis promises an easy-to-use GUI for equalizing 5.1 buses with simple mouse-click access to the L, C, R, Ls, Rs and LFE channels. Other features include L/R and M/S modes, a display offering frequencies or notes, band-naming and Digidesign ICON mapping. AirEQ 5.1 uses double-precision processing for maximum audio resolution. The Focusrite Plug-In Suite provides a collection of EQ, compression, reverb and gating VST/Audio Units plug-ins for tracking and mixing. The compressor and gate have been modeled on Focusrite's hardware devices, using the measurement of Focusrite’s custom optos to achieve a vintage optical sound. The gate operates as a stereo gate and, in dual-mono modes one signal can be used to trigger the gate of another. The EQ delivers a similar signature to the original Focusrite ISA EQ curves. Auto-Time Adjuster is an RTAS plug-in for Pro Tools LE/M-Powered that enhances workflow by automatically compensating for plug-in or hardware insert latency.
