At the 125th AES Convention, Sennheiser introduced the new Evolution e 965 ($878) microphone. This large-diaphragm condenser mic features a wide frequency range, extensive dynamics, and low distortion.
Ideal for vocal use, the e 965 also features a dual-diaphragm transducer, allowing you to switch between cardioid and super-cardioid pickup patterns. In addition, the microphone has a pre-attenuation switch, a low-cut filter, a shockmount design, and an integrated pop shield and windshield.
Sennheiser expects to ship the Evolution e 965 in September 2008. To learn more, visit sennheiserusa.com.
