The sE Electronics International group has teamed up with Rupert Neve Designs to produce a range of Rupert Neve Signature series microphones.
There are several microphones in production right now, the first being an active ribbon mic with discrete circuits and transformers designed by Mr. Rupert Neve, who is overseeing the electronics part of this collaboration. sE, on the other hand, is in control of the capsule and manufacturing. Following the ribbon mic will be a large diaphragm tube mic and a solid-state condenser mic. The first three microphones will have a similar look that combines Neve's retro quality with sE’s modern style.
The Signature series microphones are expected to be released in summer of 2008. To learn more, please visit www.seelectronics.com.
