Red Microphones has announced a new promotion featuring the Type A and Type B interchangeable capsule microphone systems.

Customers who purchase a Red Type A mic and one Capsule (R0- R7) between November 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007 will receive a Type B microphone plus an R8 Capsule at no charge. This represents a savings of $700 off the combination purchased separately.

Customers who purchase a Red Type B mic and one capsule (R0 - R7) will receive an R8 Capsule at no charge (a $250 value).

The Type A is Red's transformerless Class A tube microphone, while the Type B is Red's Class A discrete solid state mic. Both mics employ a system of nine interchangeable capsules, The Redheads.

Red's ABC Sales requires no sending receipts or filling out forms. Simply purchase your Red Type A or B mic and capsules from a participating Red dealer between November 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007 and they will supply the Type B/R8 or R8 capsule free of charge.
