Snowflake microphone

Blue Microphones has announced the Snowflake ($79) portable USB microphone.

The Snowflake microphone and its accompanying USB cable tuck into a compact case that, when unfolded, serves as a desktop stand or a laptop clip. According to the manufacturer, the Snowball is ideal for use with Podcasting, voice-recognition software, movie narration, and more.

Blue Microphones expects the Snowflake to be available sometime in the first quarter of 2008. For more information, visit www.bluemic.com.
