microphone

AKG (distributed by Harman) has introduced the LC, a light condenser premium vocal microphone. According to the manufacturer, this microphone is ideal for a range of applications, from vocals and live sound to recording and studio use.

The LC offers a cardioid polar pattern, an XLR connector module with 24-carat gold plated pins, a spring steel wire-mesh grill, the PB1000 Presence boost adapter, optimization for use with in-ear monitor systems, a piano-black finish, and more. The mic has a frequency range of 60 to 20,000 Hz and premium 24-carat gold plated transducer case for optimum conductivity.

Standard accessories for the LC are the PC 1000, which adds 3 to 5 dB of enhancement between 5 and 9 kHz, a protective mic case, and the SA 61 stand adapter.
