MXL Microphones is shipping its MXL Cube ($69.99) and MXL 190 ($149.99) microphones, which are available exclusively through Musician's Friend.

MXL Cube

The Cube is a cardioid condenser microphone with a frequency response of 20 Hz–20 kHz. The microphone features a one-inch, gold-sputtered, six-micron condenser pressure gradient capsule; a FET (field-effect transistor) preamp with a balanced output; and internal Mogami wiring. It ships in a protective case with a microphone clip and optional shockmount.

Like the Cube, the 190 has a frequency response of 20 Hz–20 kHz, a six-micron condenser pressure gradient capsule, a FET (field-effect transistor) preamp with a balanced output, and internal Mogami wiring. However, it differs from the Cube in that it incorporates a -10 dB attenuation switch, has a champagne-colored finish, and comes with a shockmount.
