Samplebase has announced four new downloadable SoundBlocks: Scat Queen, Microbeats, World Percussion - India 1, and Amazing Grace.

The first collection, Scat Queen ($39) features more than 200 vocal scats, phrases, and one-shots by vocalist Dee Dee McNeil. All sounds were recorded at 90, 100, and 127 BPM, and the freestyle vocal phrases are arranged into multis by tempo/key and by tempo/1st syllable. You can play them dry or adjust the Mod Wheel to add reverb or delay.

Microbeats ($29) offers micro-edited and manipulated rhythms and computer-controlled beats. According to the manufacturer, the included clicks, cuts, synth tones, snares, and kicks are ideal for dance and pop production. This SoundBlock includes 50 sliced loops, in tempos ranging from 120–170 BPM.

World Percussion - India 1 ($29) features over 40 loops and Velocity-sensitive hits that can be performed within Satellite, with or without effects. Each instrument was played by a professional percussionist who specializes in performing these "ethnic" instruments. This SoundBlock is arranged into multi menus by instrument type, and it contains individual Velocity-sensitive patches for each instrument (Bones, Dholak, Egg Shaker, Kanjira, and Tabla).

Lastly, Amazing Grace ($19) is a bluegrass construction kit with multiple variations and parts for acoustic bass, acoustic guitar, dobro, fiddle, and mandolin. All of the loops were recorded at 50 BPM in the key of D and can be time-stretched and pitch-shifted within Satellite. The first multi in Amazing Grace has one preconstructed mix with multiple intros, outros, verses, and solos that can be triggered individually from their keyboards.
