Native Instruments has announced its latest Kore SoundPack, True Strike Tension ($79). According to the manufacturer, the distinctive percussion sounds in this SoundPack are meant to add mystery and tension to cinematic film scores and similar musical styles. You can further enhance the sounds from True Strike Tension through the sound-shaping and browsing features in Kore 2 and the free Kore Player.

Created in collaboration with ProjectSAM, True Strike Tension includes unique sample material selected from ProjectSAM's "True Strike 2" library. The collection features the sampled sounds of percussion instruments from Africa, Japan, and the Middle East, such as the Kenkeni, Darabuka, Bendir, Okedo-Daiko, and others.

True Strike Tension is available as a download-only purchase from the NI Online Shop. For audio demos and more information, please visit www.native-instruments.com.
