EastWest is distributing Zero-G’s Carnival Drums ($159.95), which offers over 2,000 samples and 1.4 GB of sounds of the main drums of the Brazilian Samba Baterias (samba percussion ensembles), which perform every summer at the Rio Carnival.

Zero-G Carnival Drums provides over 1,400 drum loops in four mic positions, as well as detailed multilayered hits of all drum sounds. There are 12 core rhythms that are broken into two categories: slower patterns with a laid back groove typical of Salvador and Bahia; and faster rhythms typical of Rio de Janeiro.

The collection is available in the following formats: Multiformat Version, REX2, NNXT (for Propellerhead Reason), Native Instruments Kontakt, HALion, EXS 24, Apple Loops, AIFF, ACID, and WAV. For more information, visit www.soundsonline.com.
