Tonium Laboratories has announced a pocket-sized DJ system called Pacemaker (Mac/Win). In addition to storing and playing back audio files on its 120 GB hard drive, the Pacemaker lets you mix, beat match, and add effects to your music. Two tracks can be played simultaneously, and the included software automatically works out the beats per minute of each track. Pacemaker supports all major audio formats, including MP3, WAV, AAC, OGG, and FLAC files.

The unit comes with the Pacemaker Editor software, stereo amplifier cables, a USB 2.0 cable, power charger, a rechargeable battery (which provides a music playback time of 18 hours or DJ operating time of 5 hours), and features two output channels, two crossfaders, EQ, mix saving, and more.

Pacemaker users will be able to share their saved mixes and interact with other users on Tonium's community platform. To learn more, visit www.pacemaker.net.
