Music accessory maker Planet Waves has introduced its new Modular Snake System ($59.99 to $159.99), a tool that offers interchangeable DB25 core cables and breakouts for flexible wiring options with industry-standard analog pinouts. The DB25 Core cable is available in three lengths (5 feet, 10 feet, and 25 feet) with breakouts, including TRS, XLR female, XLR male, and combo XLR male/female. You can mix and match core cables and breakouts for any snake configuration.

The system also features a proprietary multipair cable with oxygen-free copper conductors and two layers of impenetrable shielding. It has a low-noise, low-signal loss construction, and Amphenol gold-plated connectors for ideal signal transference, corrosion resistance, and strain relief.
