Music Marketing has announced that MusicXPC is shipping its P2 panel computer. The P2 is a professional music computer with a 22-inch screen, a Core 2 Duo processor running on a 1066 MHz FSB, 2 GB of RAM, 570 GB of onboard drive storage, and an internal socket for USB dongles.
According to the manufacturer, in a recent performance test, the P2 ran 20 simultaneous Roomworks reverbs in Steinberg Cubase 4 (24-bit, 44.1 kHz) and 55 stereo 24-bit, 96 kHz tracks running from the internal drives. That's just one example of what the P2 can do. More information about the P2 will be available this month when the MusicXPC Web site goes live. For more details, visit www.musicmarketing.ca.
