Korg has updated its Pandora PX5D ($330) personal multi-effects processor and USB recording interface for guitar and bass. The PX5D is pocket-sized, ready for direct recording (via USB) within DAWs, and has a footswitch control for live use.
Available as a free download, the update to the PX5D add a Mac-compatible Sound editor; and provides "song updater" software that lets you swap out existing demo songs for new songs included in the software, or replace existing songs with your own songs in SMF format.
