, Portland’s annual summer music festival, unveils its 2014 lineup today. Taking place on August 16th-17th at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in the heart of downtown Portland, this year’s festival will feature Girl Talk, Spoon, Phantogram, Haim, Run The Jewels, tUnE-yArDs, Future Islands, Fucked Up, Man Man, The Antlers, Gardens & Villa, Pink Mountaintops, Thundercat, EMA, Shy Girls, Modern Kin, Landlady, and The Districts.
MusicfestNW is excited to announce that Early Bird tickets will be available Friday and run $85 dollars for a two-day pass and $50 for a single day pass. VIP passes are also available for $300 for two day passes and single day VIP passes for $175. Tickets can be purchased at musicfestnw.com/tickets/
Located on four acres of grass alongside the Willamette River, MFNW will include two stages, and music from noon-10 pm both days. Attendees can sample food from Portland’s finest food carts, shop for rock-n-roll posters and dance the days away with Headphone Disco presented by KIND.
MusicfestNW will once again run in concert with TechfestNW at Oregon's Museum of Science and Industry. TechfestNW brings together technology, design, creativity, entrepreneurship, education, career opportunities and talent, showcasing Portland as a digital and cultural hub. The full program lineup will be announced in mid May.
MusicfestNW, a citywide celebration of music, began in 2000 and has grown over the course of fourteen years. In 2013, over 39,000 music fans attended MusicfestNW from 47 states and 15 countries.
