Waves Updates Plug-ins to Version 6

Waves Audio has released Version 6 software for its line of plug-ins. Version 6, which is free to users covered by the Waves Update Plan, offers the following features for all Waves products: iLok.com support; a simplified way to register and authorize Waves products; access to the TLC Theft and Loss Coverage protection program, which ensures that product authorizations are never lost due to iLok key theft or loss; and compatibility with all major audio hosts and operating systems.

Those who upgrade to Version 6 can choose from three main installers—Essentials, Expanded, and Complete—each with a specific subset of Waves plug-ins and bundles. During the installation process, you will be prompted to choose the specific products you want, and only those selected tools will be installed. Also available are additional installers for 360° Surround Tools, Studio Classics Collection, and Waves Certification.

Waves also offers Personalized Upgrade Paths, which let you step up from the products you have to the products you want, no matter what product or combination of products you currently own.
