The Vienna Symphonic Library has released a new Vienna Instruments Collection, Appassionata Strings II. Featuring large muted string ensembles, this new virtual instrument provides sustains, legato performances, a variety of articulations, out-of-tune-samples, and more.
Appassionata Strings II has 10.7 GB of 24-bit, 44.1 kHz samples; it works as a standalone instrument or as a plug-in with AU, RTAS, and VST hosts. The Standard Library is $515, the Extended Library is $185, and the Full Library is $700.
Through January 15, 2008, registered users of the Standard and the Extended Library of the Vienna Instruments Collection Appassionata Strings get a Full Library Activation Code after registering the Standard Library of Appassionata Strings II.
