Immersive Media Research (IMR) and Samson Technologies (U.S. distributor) have announced the Vortex Zoom Encoder (Mac/Win) for the H2 Handy Recorder.
IMR’s Vortex Zoom Encoder is a streamlined program that allows H2 owners to share their recordings with others by converting 4-channel Zoom H2 recordings to standard formats. To start conversion, just drop the two stereo WAV files onto the Vortex Zoom Encoder window and click one of three export buttons (DTS, Binaural, or 5.1 WAV).
The Encoder program operates in full-featured mode for 30 days and then reverts to a free player for Zoom H2 surround files, allowing you to hear four-channel recordings through four speakers. For $25, you can unlock and restore DTS, Binaural, and 5.1 WAV encoding.
To download the free trial version of Vortex Zoom Encoder, visit im-research.com.
