New from Toontrack Music is Drumtracker—host-independent, standalone, multitrack audio-to-MIDI converter software for sound replacement.
According to the manufacturer, Drumtracker gives you manual control over tracking and exporting and lets you select which part or parts of a drum track that you want to export.
Each triggering point is graphically represented and you can set maximum and minimum Velocity and threshold values for each instrument and articulation. In addition, Drumtracker allows you to export all drums to one single MIDI file or as separate MIDI files, as well as choose between different output MIDI mappings adapted for your preferred drum sampler format.
Drumtracker will be available in January, 2008. For more details, visit www.toontrack.com/drumtracker.asp.
