Summit Audio has released the FeQ-50, a single-channel, 4-band parametric EQ with iron-based circuitry in a 1/2U chassis. There are six selectable frequencies for each of the four bands, and gain control of +/- 14 dB with a center detent at 0 dB. The low and high bands feature peaking or shelving select, and the middle two bands have wide and narrow switches. The passive highpass filter has a knee at 80 Hz with a 6 dB per octave roll off, and the signal path is transformerless.

The FeQ-50 includes XLR-balanced and 1/4-inch unbalanced inputs on a Neutrik combo jack. For outputs, the FeQ-50 has balanced +4 dB XLR and balanced -10 dB TRS for both the solid-state and tube signal paths, all of which are individually buffered and can be used simultaneously. Like all Summit Audio products, the FeQ-50 has an internal high-voltage power supply and a 3-year warranty. For more information, visit Summit Audio.com.
