Sonnox has introduced the Oxford SuprEsser ($315), an RTAS, AU, and VST processing plug-in that functions as both a de-esser and a dynamic EQ.

The Oxford SuprEsser features a basic mode for quick fixes and an advanced mode for fine-tuning. The plug-in combines an FFT display and three listen modes so that users can easily see and hear problem frequencies, trigger full band compression, and remove plosives and other undesirable sounds. Other features include automatic level tracking, linear phase filtering, and a Wet/Dry blend control for balancing.

The Oxford SuprEsser is expected to ship in March, 2008. More information about Sonnox Oxford Plugins is available at www.sonnoxplugins.com.
