Sion Software has released Copyist 7.0 (Windows; $99.95), the most recent version of the company's graphical music notation software. Version 7.0 offers custom symbols and note heads, the importing of graphics, 4- and 5-string tablature and chords, and more.
With Copyist, users can place musical objects on the page regardless of music notation rules. According to the manufacturer, this makes it easy for small excerpts to be included in text-heavy work and complex scores. Copyist can be used by itself or with QuickScore Elite software.
For complete details about Copyist 7.0, visit www.sionsoft.com. While you're there, you can also download a Copyist
7.0 demo.
