RPG Diffusor Systems has released MelaFlex, a new Class A fire-rated acoustical foam for production facilities and studios.

Melaflex features nestable profiled acoustical foam with VDAC (Variable Depth Air Cavity), which is made from non-fibrous, fire resistant, open cell, lightweight BASF melamine foam. The acoustical foam complies with National Life Safety Codes for Class A interior use, and meets all requirements of the ATSM Fire tunnel test. Melaflex is available in 2x2 and 4x2 (ProFoam) panels, 1x1 (ProFoam) tiles, and 4x1 low frequency corner units (ProCorner).
