Remix Hotel Atlanta, presented by Microsoft, Beatsource and Akai, will return to Atlanta September 20 to 22, 2007 for three days of music technology product demos, industry panels, workshops, and special guest appearances at the new SAE Institute of Technology. The event will feature headliners Scott Storch, Talib Kweli and Clinton Sparks, as well as some of the hottest Atlanta talent including DJ Don Cannon, DJ Jelly, DJ Toomp, David Gates, Killer Mike, DJ Judge Mental, Lroc and The Runners. Remix Hotel provides hands-on access to the technology and equipment used to create today’s electronic and urban music via artist presentations and demonstrations, workshops, clinics and discussion. Friday, September 21, Storch joins Shocklee Innertainment’s Magic Frequencies: The Secrets to Making Your Records Sound Hi-Def panel, as well as a keynote and Q&A. Thursday, September 20, Talib Kweli will be on-site for a meet & greet, Q&A and listening party at the Velvet Underground. U.S. radio, mixtape DJ and hip-hop producer Clinton Sparks will DJ the Remix Hotel afterparty at the Velvet Underground on Friday, September 21. New to RHATL this year are Hank Shocklee’s interactive panels, including “Beatology 101,” where attendees bring their freshest instrumental tracks and get feedback from Stoni (International Producer's Association beat battle Champion), Arnaz "The Nazty One" Smith (Young Jeezy) and Khao (T.I., Paul Wall, Young Dro, Ruben Studdard, Lil’ Kim). At “Please Listen to My Demo,” attendees can bring their demos to get feedback from David Gates (president of Rowdy Records), Chuck Woo (Earwax Records), and DJ King Arthur (radio and club DJ/mixer, Mastermind Music, Hot 107.9).

Digidesign, Roland, Ableton, and Yamaha are among the manufacturers who will present music gear and master classes at RHATL. Other technology partners include: Alesis; B&H Photo, Video, Professional Audio; Discmakers; Edirol; iStandard; Korg; M-Audio; Moog; Numark; Pioneer Pro DJ; Rane; Serato; and Steinberg.

Remix Hotel offers up-to-the-minute news, updates, schedules and special announcements on RHNYC and previous Hotels through blogs, Remix Hotel TV and podcasts.

General registration is free. For $30, attendees can upgrade to a Remix Hotel All-Access pass. The All-Access pass gives attendees access to the Shocklee Innertainment panels and the Scott Storch Q&A.
