PreSonus Audio Electronics has released a FaderPort beta native driver for Apple Logic Pro and Logic Express versions 7 or higher. The driver adds new functions to the FaderPort that are not supported by HUI mode, such as mix/edit/transport window view, and write and latch automation.
The FaderPort is a desktop USB automation and transport controller featuring a touch-sensitive 100 mm motorized long throw fader, a dual-servo drive belt motor design, a footswitch jack for hands-free use, and more. It's compatible with all major recording software, for both Macs and PCs.
In addition to the Logic beta native driver, the FaderPort also has native drivers for Digidesign Pro Tools, Cakewalk Sonar, Steinberg Cubase, Nuendo, and MOTU Digital Performer.
