Nady Systems has unveiled four new ribbon microphones, expanding its current line to five models. In addition to the RSM-2, the line now includes the RSM-1, RSM-3, RSM-4, and RSM-5. Each model is designed and configured differently to suit specific applications.

All models have low-tension aluminum ribbon designs, but with slightly differing thicknesses and lengths depending on the model. The RSM-4 is recommended for miking instruments and guitar amp cabinets. The RSM-3 is designed for recording ambient sound and for use as a choral mic.

The RSM-1 is designed for all-around use, when a compact mic is required. The RSM-5 is for instrument miking when a compact mic is most useful.
