Modartt has released a physically modelled virtual copy of a Walter pianoforte (Vienna, ca 1790), which belongs to pianist Paul Badura-Skoda. As an add-on instrument, the Water pianoforte supplements the company's Pianoteq virtual instrument. It's free for all current Pianoteq customers.
According to the manufacturer, the Walter pianoforte is part of the KIViR project that aims to create virtual copies of historical keyboard instruments. For more information, please visit pianoteq.com.
