MakeMusic has updated SmartMusic music-learning software to version 10.2. This upgrade provides support for Mac OS X Leopard and has a simplified design.
According to the manufacturer, SmartMusic is now easier to use; it has an improved installer, login process, activation, and update messaging, as well as a new home screen with better access to assignments and repertoire. The 10.2 update also provides the Microphone Check Wizard, which helps ensure correct microphone levels for recording; new Tuner features, which allow the software to record Tuner sessions and access Tuner's Drone mode; and other SmartMusic Impact Enhancements.
SmartMusic 10.2 includes all current additions to the repertoire library. You can browse current titles in the SmartMusic searchable database.
Current SmartMusic subscribers can download the 10.2 update for free from www.smartmusic.com.
