MakeMusic, Inc. has released Finale PrintMusic 2009 (Mac/Win; $99.95), the latest upgrade to the company's music notation software.

PrintMusic 2009 offers an improved, simple interface and features a streamlined workflow; the capability to drag and drop expressions; flexible expression editing; updates to MusicXML; and improved expression creation, scanning, metronome markings, and engraver slurs. This version of PrintMusic allows for easier creation, entry, moving, and editing of dynamics, tempo indications, and other text and markings.
