MR-1 recorder

Now may be a good time to consider purchasing a mobile recorder, since Korg USA is offering a $200 rebate for its new MR-1. This handheld recorder features 1-bit, 2.8 MHz recording and playback; and support for 24-bit, 16-bit, and MP3 recording formats. According to the manufacturer, the MR-1 is ideal for live recording, Podcasting, broadcast journalism, and mastering and archiving final mixes.

Through August 31, 2008, anyone who purchases a new MR-1 mobile 1-bit recorder from an authorized Korg dealer in the United States can receive the rebate. Download the rebate form at Korg's Web site.
